Mantis Mineral Corp. appoints Anthony Millo to position of Chief Financial Officer

Mantis Mineral Corp. (”Mantis” – CNQ “MINE”) is pleased to announce the appointment of Tony Millo to serve as Chief Financial Officer effective immediately of Mantis Mineral Corp. Previously Mr. Millo
served as Vice President Finance of a Toronto based securities dealer. He served as Senior Examiner/Manager and Director of the Toronto Stock Exchange. Over the past twenty-five years, Mr. Millo has held senior finance and compliance positions in several IDA Member firms including work in forensic accounting. Mr Millo will remain on the Board of Directors. Mr. Millo is replacing Vicki Rosenthal who will remain a financial consultant to Mantis.

Warrants Extended
Mantis has extended the term on 200,000 warrants due to expire on July 5, 2008 for an additional three years from their date of expiry.

Consulting Agreement
Mantis Mineral Corp. has entered into a renewable six-month consulting agreement with Vicki Rosenthal whereby the consultant will provide Mantis with financial consulting services. The company has agreed to pay the consultant $15,000 for the term of the agreement payable in shares of Mantis as listed actively on the CNQ Exchange subject to regulatory approval and a four-month hold.
