A main pipeline supplying gas to the Pir Koh plant from the Loti gas field was blown up on Tuesday.
According to police, armed men placed an explosive device under the pipeline which destroyed a big portion of the pipeline, disrupting supply. OGDC engineers started repairing the pipeline after security clearance.
Meanwhile, police defused two landmines in Dara Murad Jamali. The Baloch Republican Army has claimed responsibility for blowing up the pipeline.
