Orsu Announces Completion of Preliminary Assessment Study for Karchiga Project

Orsu Metals Corporation (”Orsu” or the “Company”) the London-based exploration, precious metals and base development, announces
the results of a preliminary evaluation study of its copper project Karchiga VMS (The “Karchiga project”) in northern Kazakhstan.

Micon International Co Limited (”Micon”) was contracted by Orsu prepare a preliminary or exploratory Karchiga study for the project (the “scoping Karchiga). Songzai International Holding Group Announces 2010 First Quarter Results

Songzai International Holding Group, Inc. (OTCBB: SGZH), a leading Chinese coal production and exploration in the PRC, announced today ‘ Today’s financial results for the first quarter ended March 31 December 2010.

For the three months ended March 31 August 2010 as the company reported revenue of 12.56 million compared to $ 20,760,000 dollars for the same period of 2009, a decrease of approximately 40%. The decrease in sales was primarily attributable to reduced production of Xing An mines as a result of the Mine Maintenance and renovation projects that began in late 2009. Projects should be completed in July 2010. The Company expects that these improvements increase mine efficiency and reduce costs by improving its growth and profitability of the mines once again. Clean coal technology, clean coal technologies, Inc. China’s Central Government Inspections of Safety Violations at Coal Mining Sites

China crackdown coal mining safety violationChina’s central government launched a nationwide crackdown on safety violations in mines and other high-risk work places, as more details surfaced about the causes of the coal-mine accident in the north of the country that trapped 153 workers underground — 115 of whom were rescued more than a week later.

The State Administration of Work Safety disclosed orders on Wednesday for a sweeping series of intensive inspections of China’s mines, chemical plants, railways and other dangerous job sites, in the wake of “many serious accidents” involving “heavy loss of life and property.” The checks are to be carried out by the end of May.

At the Wangjialing colliery in north China’s Shanxi province, where miners were trapped by flood waters that poured through shafts and tunnels on March 28, rescuers recovered more bodies Wednesday, bringing the death toll to nine. Searchers said they had pinpointed the location of the 29 miners still stranded and were fighting to reach them. It was unclear if any were alive. Read more

Australian coal sales to India increased sharply each year. Imports of coal are carried out by India in order to meet the energy supply needed by the industrial sector of India. State-owned mining company, Coal India Limited was hunting to be able to invest in coal mines in Australia. This business is conducted to prevent the energy crisis in India.
More than half of India’s energy needs met by coal. This is an important resource for electricity generation and steel industries.
This has significant coal reserves, and already one of the largest countries in the world that produce coal, but the local output is not in line with runaway demand. This country has a shortage of coal is expected to more than 80 million tons next year and supply gap is set to expand rapidly.
This threatens India worsen already chronic shortage of electricity. Almost half of the population has no access to electricity and coal supply needs to expand rapidly if the government’s promise to provide current to each household is met.
“India is under real pressure for coal resources,” said Singh Armajeet energy market analysts. “The purchase of fuel is the biggest obstacle to the development of power sector in India.”
Responding to the Coal India Limited, the largest coal producer in the world, has marked an aggressive acquisition strategy in foreign countries in an effort to secure supplies of coal to fuel electricity-starved India and steel industry.
