Progress Energy Resources Corp. today announced that it has entered into an agreement with a syndicate of underwriters led by BMO Capital Markets and including Scotia Capital Inc., CIBC World Markets Inc., Cormark Securities Inc., FirstEnergy Capital Corp., Peters & Co. Limited, RBC Capital Markets, Canaccord Capital Corporation, National Bank Financial Inc., Macquarie Capital Markets Canada Ltd., GMP Securities L.P. and Raymond James Ltd., pursuant to which the underwriters will purchase $200 million principal amount of convertible unsecured subordinated debentures at a price of $1,000 per debenture. Colossus Minerals Inc. is pleased to announce that, due to the positive response the Company has received, the common share offering announced earlier today with a syndicate of underwriters led by Macquarie Capital Markets Canada Ltd. and including Thomas Weisel Partners Canada Inc., Canaccord Capital Corporation, and GMP Securities L.P., with PowerOne Capital Markets Limited to act as a selling group member, has been increased by an additional 1,000,000 common shares.
